Redefining Excellence: The Story of a Revolutionary Music Brand ...

"Luv-Man Records: If You Have the Talent, We Have the Time"

My name is Christopher Andrew Parham (aka “OG”). I was born on June 12th, 1959 in Manhattan (New York City), and raised in the Bronx.

After being introduced (by my godfather) at the age of five to my first instrument, a set of drums, my second instrument was the bass guitar. Upon learning the basics of how to play the "magical" bass, I fell in love with it. Seeing my newfound interest, my godfather proceeded to bring numerous older, more experienced musicians my way, to help improve my craft. Listening to them play while they serenaded the microphone directly influenced me to fall in love with singing, and inspired me to begin doing the same.

Joining several groups, I gained valuable experience singing background vocals and playing bass, performing at local clubs including the Savoy Manor and Disco Fever, as well as at local events.

My musical adventures next inspired me to begin writing my own songs and performing as a solo artist. I performed all throughout New York City - in local clubs as well as off Broadway at the Blue Angel. This led to my opening for, and promoting, established artists including Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, The Manhattans, Blue Magic, Ray Goodman & Brown, GQ and Stephanie Mills.

Realizing that even some established artists were being misinformed and misdirected about the music industry, which negatively impacted their careers, I decided to start my own music company. Thus was born, Luv-Man Productions & Management.

As the founder of my own music-related business, I was able to work with artists and do showcases throughout New York, St. Louis, South Carolina and Atlanta. Grinding and putting in hard work, I soon realized that it takes up front money to make things properly work in a complex and ever-changing music industry. I was determined to begin raising capital, with the ultimate goal of starting my own record label.

At the age of 65, I proudly started my new business venture, Luv-Man Records LLC. My daily mantra is that one should "never stop dreaming" because doing so actually helps prevent your dreams from coming true.

By God's grace, I’m now living my dream, having established Luv-Man Records and working with the artists Prince Dale, Adisyn Mahree & Voice Eny. Having strategically placed these three talented artists together has created pure "magic," but it's important to recognize that each artist also has their own specific, unique sound and style.

Having initiated a major monetary rollout for all three artists has enabled my having them open for major performers including Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Bobby Shmurda, and 50 Cent. I've filmed music videos, and dropped the singles "Mess Around" and "Depression Expression" (Prince Dale), "Maybach" and "Monster" (Adisyn Mahree), "Like Dat" (Voice Eny feat. Adisyn Mahree & Prince Dale), "HELLO" (Voice Eny feat. Marano Skyies), and "For The Stars" (Voice Eny).

Promoting the above three artists and having them perform all around New York City has further developed them, and has enabled me to drop my record company's debut album, "Luv-Man Records, Vol 1." I have numerous projects that have recently reached fruition, including having dropped and promoted the single "HELLO" by Voice Eny feat. Marano Skyies, the radio edit single for Adisyn Mahree’s "Monster" (originally released on the debut album, and with the single version having achieved position #35 on the Mediabase Top 40 7-Day Activator chart and #76 on the Mediabase Monitored Top 40 chart), and Voice Eny's trending new single "For the Stars."  Additional projects are in the works and forthcoming.
